Florida Headwaters Foundation Inc. serves as a pioneering not-for-profit cornerstone and is dedicated to establishing a culture of understanding and appreciation of the natural world within the Sunbridge community that can be passed on to future generations of Floridians.
Sunbridge is the region’s first 'naturehood,' integrating the community within the preserved natural landscapes and protected waterways connected to the bordering protected natural lands.
The foundation embarks with a vision to ensure that sustainable living becomes a part of the Sunbridge community culture. By hiring a naturalist-educator, developing rich educational programs and forging partnerships, the Foundation cultivates a culture deeply rooted in sustainability and respect for the natural environment.
Sunbridge, a Tavistock Development community, spans 27,000 acres in the heart of Central Florida, just 12 minutes from the award-winning Lake Nona community. Close to Orlando International Airport and strategically located between downtown and the Space Coast, Sunbridge symbolizes innovation and Florida’s natural beauty, redefining what living in harmony with nature means.
