Weslyn Park is getting an upgrade! If you like planting trees, learning about growing food or volunteering in general, come out every first Saturday from 9am to noon to help us plant out Weslyn’s new food forest! Planting a food forest is a sustainable way to grow food by mimicking the natural structure of a forest ecosystem. We will have tall trees, vines and ground covers that over time will become a productive, resilient system that supports biodiversity and provides fresh, organic food for visitors. Meet at the community garden!
